Demi Agaiby is a mental performance consultant and the director of Beyond Horizons Performance. Her journey in performance began as a dancer, extending through college and beyond. She earned a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, where she first became fascinated by the connection between performance and psychology.
Throughout her performance training and career, Demi faced challenges including injuries, burnout, comparison, and performance anxiety. She turned to psychological strategies to navigate these struggles, which ultimately led her to discover Sport and Performance Psychology. This passion drove her to pursue an M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
Shortly after completing her master’s degree, Demi founded Beyond Horizons Performance (BHP) with the goal of influencing the sport and performance world through both scientific research and practical application. Since then, she has worked with hundreds of athletes and performers nationwide, helping them strengthen their mental skills and master their mindset.
Demi shares: “Mental performance allows me to do more than just shape an athlete's mindset—it gives me the opportunity to impact their entire athletic journey and life. I can look at a young, pre-professional, or professional athlete or performer who feels overlooked and say, ‘I believe in you. I see your potential, and I’m here to help you reach your goals.’”
Along with mental skills consulting, Demi has had the honor of presenting at the National Dance Education Organization, National Dance Coaches Association, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, YPAD’s Expert Series, Activate Your Artistry Dance Convention, Bloom Dance Competition, and more.

Sara Brown is a mental performance consultant at Beyond Horizons Performance. Sara’s journey began as a competitive dancer, where she faced challenges with pre-performance anxiety and fear of failure. These experiences sparked a passion in the psychological aspects of performance and ultimately led her to earn a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville. Driven to learn more about the connection between physical and mental performance, Sara earned her M.S. in Sport, Performance, and Exercise Psychology from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Sara’s athletic background matched with her knowledge in sport psychology makes for an empathetic and evidence-based approach that proves results. Her philosophy emphasizes training the mind with a similar purpose, structure, and commitment as physical preparation. Sara shares, “My aim is to be a facilitator and resource for athlete’s striving to unlock and embrace their potential.”
