While there are some overlaps, mental performance consulting is not the same as mental health counseling or therapy. Mental performance consulting focuses on enhancing performance and well-being for athletes and performers. We work on skills like focus, confidence, overcoming performance anxiety, handling pressure, and building mental toughness to optimize how you show up in your sport or craft. We do not diagnose or treat clinical mental health disorders such as clinical depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Many athletes and performers work with both a mental health counselor and a mental performance consultant to support different areas of their life and performance.
